Eric Lucero

A native of New Mexico via southern California, Eric has been a fixture on the New Orleans music scene for more than ten years. At home on trumpet, flugelhorn, or percussion, he is currently a member of the all-star trumpet section of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. While not on the road with the NOJO, he lends his talents to a variety of bands including The Ambassadors of New Orleans, Otra, and other stellar organizations. His playing on 'Minas' on the Minha Joia CD is one of the (imho) high points of the CD. Eric's free-spirited playing makes him a valuable addition to any musical endeavor.
